The Ngäbe, also known as Guaymí, are indigenous people who originally lived in the border regions of Costa Rica and Panama. Today, they reside mainly in southern Costa Rica, particularly in the Puntarenas province.

The Ngäbe are known for their distinctive traditional dress, with women wearing colorful ""Nagua"" dresses. Their culture includes traditional agricultural practices, craftwork, and spiritual beliefs linked to nature. They speak the Ngäbere language, which is still actively used.
